Another Schmincke colour that I stopped using is their #516, green earth. Why? Because along with PBr7, it contains pthalo green PG7 that’s why. Ugh.
Daniel Smith’s rare green Earth by contrast is more potent (meaning concentrated) and it is a single pigment colour, PG23.
Green Earth is more of a neutral greenish grey than a saturated pure green tone/hue. But sometimes that’s what is required.
