The holy grail.

The holy grail.

vandenhooven 11 June 2022

I woke up early today* (which is rare, because I’m more of a night owl). And I managed to do two drawings (outlines) before midday. I’m quite pleased about that.

This one is on Magnani 100% cotton paper in a panoramic 50cm x 20cm size, 300gsm weight. I believe it is the rough ‘Toscana’ surface finish (although I have come to prefer their cold-pressed ‘Italia’ finish).

This version looks more like a man, because he has a beard. But these days, you never know! I think I’m going to call this one “The holy grail”.

* Well it was Thursday when I wrote this, so that was two days ago.
